Shipping
All orders are shipped via the best, most cost-effective method: either local carrier or UPS. Orders will be shipped via truck when the gross weight of your order makes the use of a common carrier more economical. UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air, or airship services are available to expedite rush orders. These special services will incur additional costs. When an order is shipped by truck, our traffic department negotiates with a number of trucking companies to ensure the most competitive ship rates available. Should you wish to have us use a specific trucking company, please let your account representative know at the time you place your order. That information can become a permanent part of your account file if you choose. Please be aware that specifying your own shipping carrier may result in higher shipping costs to you.

This shipping policy only applies to orders shipped within the Contiguous U.S.

Hazardous Material Policy
UPS classifies some types of chemicals as “hazardous” for shipping purposes. UPS charges an additional $32.00 per package (ground) or $45.00 per package (air) for these items (subject to change without notice). The quantities we can ship vary according to the product. Therefore, if you use such an item regularly, it makes sense to order the maximum per package to avoid additional hazardous charges. Please note that certain hazardous items may not be shipped Next Day or Second Day Air, or may be shipped in limited quantities. Truck lines classify items the same way UPS does and generally apply such surcharges. Damage in Shipment
All claims for material damaged in shipment must be reported to the delivering carrier; UPS driver, truck driver, etc. Please retain the original carton as it is often needed as part of a claim settlement.

 

Shortage of Merchandise
In the event that you receive an order that shows an item shipped, but the item(s) are not in the box, please notify us immediately or in as timely a manner as possible.
